Green, Cheap, or Crazy??

I haven't decided which one I am. Maybe a little of all three.
I am doing cloth diapers...yikes. Luckily we have moved forward in the world and no longer keep our children's "business" put together with sharp, pokey objects. I am kind of excited. I'll report back. Wish me nothing but odorless, speckle filled, yellow poops.

you are brave. i think of my nephews and when I do their diapers and how my mom did that kind of stuff in cloth and cleaning it and it totally makes me gag! Good luck and I'm sure there will be very funny stories to share!

Hi Lindsey!!! It's Aby. Browsing through CA friends' blogs, I saw yours! You have a very cute family!!!
Maybe your baby has come already, if so, MIL FELICIDADES!!!!!!!!
We are expecting too, #3 next summer /fall.
I just had a comment on cloth diapers: we have use them for more than a year now and absolutely LOVE them. We went with bumGenius and use biodegradable liners (after she started solids), so when we have a poopy, we can just flush the liner and all in the toilet as if it were toilet paper and voila! diaper and insert to the wash. The liners that were only pee'd on are washable and can be reused 4-5 times. We have found the whole deal to be quite easy, cheap, soft, and manageable.
Ok. this was a big comment. Good luck if you go with cloth! it's fun and easier than most might think.

Hi Lindsey!
I am one of your blog readers. I notice this older post on cloth diapering and want to check in and see how it was going. I am pregnant with my third and I have two kids still in diapers right now. I keep hoping to switch as soon as my daughter (almost three) is potty trained. I would love to hear how you are liking it or not liking it.

Best of luck!
