...and it fell

Starting in late Decemeber, snow started to fall.  It was white and heavy and beautiful.  With the first snowfall we received a good two feet.

Which actually piles up to be about 6 feet after we shoveled our driveway.
The kids went out and played in the snow.
Then came in,
cried because their hands were so cold,
had some hot chocolate,
and asked to go back outside.

It was awesome.
Then it snowed again.
And again.
And again.
Oh, then came the "ice storm", which basically just put a good 2-3 inches of ice on top of the 2-3 feet of snow we had in our yard and on top of our driveway.  Pure kill-yourself-if-you-try-to-walk-on-it awesomeness (or crutch on it, if you're Tyler).

But alas, this story has a good was a beautiful 45 degrees.  The sun was shining and I was happy (and I did not wear a coat in my house all day).  I think we are down to a foot and a half of snow.  Spring can't come soon enough!  Pretty sure I will appreciate it a little more this year!
