We say Goodbye, and we say HELLO!

I'm pretty sure it is downhill from here on out, but if all areas of my life increase in ease, comfort, pure joy (on the part of the kids at least) then I am willing to embrace it. With our third little child coming in a few months we had no choice but to say goodbye to my 4-Runner (and free ourselves of an incredible gas hog!) So my pride slowly diminished until I figured out after only a few days of hauling my kiddos around that...

I LOVE my new VAN!

Please still be my friend. Not because I drive a mini-van, but because I like it :)

To ensure that Lindsey understood the magnitude of this purchase I said, "Lindsey, you know that you will still be driving this van when Ava turns 16 and beyond..." to which she responded, "I know Tyler, and you will still be driving the Corolla"....doh!

Here is to dreaming of my new car some day...way in the future.

Ha ha ha...I love you. I think it is inevitable..we are all headed down that same path--towards minivan ownership.

remember that cute little convertable you used to drive in high school... oh how life changes! embrace the mini van, anything that makes life easier is a plus. And yes I'll still be your friend.

Loved this post! Chris keeps saying the next car we get will be a mini van. I fought him on it for a while, until I took a girls trip in a Honda Odyssey and then... I fell in love. Congrats on the van, and for sure I will still be your friend and especially because you like it, and because your smart to get one because who wants to drive a gas guzzler right now. What kind of van did you get? You should post pics of you posing by it!

Hey there! How fun that you have a new van! My husband has wanted one since forever - he tried to get me one in college...before we had kids. I love them now too - I'm a convert. Anyway, fun to see you! Hope all is well:)

I'd love to see you, we live just up the hill from the Marriot. I was just giving you a hard time but, I'm sure you'll have lots of family stuff going on but, i'd love to just come see you or meet up at D-Land for a bit;-)

Hi Linds. I always forget to comment after reading posts, but I remembered this time! First of all, congrats on the boy. I'm so excited for you guys. Secondly, I love how adorable your little babies are. Ava is so funny and Christian is a little sweetheart. Lastly, I LOVE vans. I am begging Casey for one despite the obvious problem of me not having any kids. I think my love affair with vans started during the club days. I love the two sliding doors!! Looks like you guys are doing really well. Take care.

Yeah, vans are the best. Welcome to the club. Oh, and Clark says I'll be driving ours into the ground as well. Oh well, it's better than his car. Wait a minute, he doesn't have a car. Hee, hee!

Vans are great!! It's all about practicality right...I'm sure that you'll look great driving it too. You could drive a junk yard car and still make it look awesome. Congrats on your new little fella that's so great! It looks like you guys are doing good and enjoying life.
