A little one amoung us!

It has become very apparent to Tyler and I in the last few months that we officially have a little PERSON living with us! Throughout most of the first 2 years of a child's life they are completely dependant upon someone else. Then it seems as if overnight they are walking, talking human beings that "take care" of themselves...let me explain.
The other day I thought I would try to be a good mom and make some homemade bread (not that that has anything to do with being a good mom). So that morning I had a pretty loaf of bread sitting on my counter to marvel at. Then I had to get some laundry done so I head to the back rooms while Ava is watching Elmo...or so I think. Ava, being the little PERSON that she is decided that she needed a snack and so she went into the kitchen, found that loaf of bread and thought, "this looks good, I'll have that!" And thus I find my little girl eating a LOAF of bread on some blankets watching Elmo. She doesn't need my help, she can fend for herself!

I love it. I am now wondering if you ate the rest of the bread after? After all that hard work to make homemade bread.

I ate a little, but it was a lot less appetizing with little mouse nibbles on it!

Ok Linds, that is so funny! I love the picture with all the little bites out of it. Also, I also love the little sunday clothes to dress the little boys in- they look so grown up in cute button ups!
