The Simple Life

Life is pretty simple right now, yet incredibly crazy at the same time. Our calendar consists of...Nothing. So here is how we have been spending our days...

Taking cute pictures of this little guy. Who BTW at his 2 week appointment was 9 lbs 5 oz. Hello...almost 2 pounds OVER his birth weight.

Making cupcakes with Grandma. Or rather just eating the batter.

More pics...with newborn eyes and double chin :)

A whole lot of this...

Days wasted away in our jammies.

Ava has been on the waiting list for her preschool forever and finally got in. This was her first day of school. She LOVES it.

Of course there has been a ton of playin' in the yard and bike riding with the last week of 70 degree weather.
And a little more Bennett. He's in his cloth diaper, which I am really liking. I only use them during the day, because he notices being wet a lot more when he wears them. I think they are great though...surprise, surprise.
Life is good. Our boy is sweet. Schedules are non-existent. We are tired. Really tired. But, life is good.

Did you make those pillows in the last pic? Coop's room is also the Dwell Studio Circles ensemble and I thought I had purchased every single item that they made for that design...until I saw your pillows! Such a good idea! You're so creative.

yes linds, i made the pillows. i just bought the pack of receiving blankets and made them into pillows. then i used the rest as a cover for a push-pin board on his wall. one pillow is from the bed skirt that i turned into his curtain though. nothing special.

I just have to say, every time I look at a picture of Christian, I see Kimball. It's pretty weird actually.
