Heading to the BIG City...NYC!

Let me start off by saying Christian DIDN'T repeat the 9 hour night...NUTS!!! But I can't help but still love him!

So, in my spare time here in Utah I am trying to plan our trip to New York! We aren't going for a few weeks, but I am quite excited. Of course we are doing all the basics...it is my first time there! But I want help! So let me know of some of your favortie NYC stops. You know the quaint little cafe's, your favorite streets to shop or just walk, or just cool things to see. I know I have a couple New Yorkers out there, so I want the inside scoop. Come on...fill my itinerary!

I love shopping in SOHO. It's always a fun day. Definitely stop in and have lunch at Cafe Habana, it's some of the best food in the city and has a great atmosphere. It's on the corner of Prince and Elizabeth. You could see the Stature of Liberty, Ground Zero in the morning and then Soho for lunch and the afternoon. Rockefeller is also really fun to hang out in and has good shopping or if you want to get up early see the Today show. Ty and I sometimes walk to Time Square from there if we are feeling really touristy. Serendipity is a fun dessert stop, but be prepared for the wait. Union Square is also a really fun spot for shopping or people watching and has good restaurants. Anyway, there is tons more to do, but this is getting way to long. There is really so much to experience here.

Go to Norma's for breakfast. It is in the lobby of the La Meridian Hotel (I think). We happened upon it the first time I went to NY and have had to go every time since. You might want to go a few mornings so that you can try everything. The hollindase sauce on the eggs benedict is to die for.

I forgot to mention that South Street Pier (I think that's what it's called) is also fun to walk around. It's downtown also. Ty and I also like to walk along Madison from the Park at about 88th street and go in all the way overly expensive shops. Feel free to email me kbills88@hotmail.com or call me if you have any questions while you're here! Have fun! Also Patsy's has good pizza and Cafe Lola has tasty food too (from You've Got Mail).

I went to high school with tyler and just thought it was cool to read a bit about his life and see his kids...just wanted to say hi. My name is Sarah (Rammell) VanSteenkiste and I live in Arizona. I was good friends with Ty and Jon...so send them a hello from me. Thanks, you have a beautiful family.
