Little baby Christian!

Introducing little baby Christian Daniel Kearl! I might be a little biased, but I think he is kind of cute! There are a bunch of pictures to see at our smugmug site, feel free to take a look. I just thought I would post a favorite! Everything went great and we are SLOWLY TRYING to adjust to being a family of 4!! Christian is still so small (6lbs 12oz, as of today). You forget that kids are ever that small, especially when your other "baby" is weighing in at almost 35lbs!
Everyone keeps telling us that there is no way we will take as many pictures of Christian as we did/do of Ava. We have every intension of proving them wrong, so check smugmug frequently!

Stroller Help?!

Okay, so no baby yet. We keep thinking it is soon, but it will probably be another week! So in the meantime, anyone have an AWESOME double stroller? The thought of a double stroller kind of makes me cringe anyway, so I have been dreading the thought actually buying one! I really like this one above, the Phil and Ted double (of course, because it is expensive!) It seems great, and I could run with it too, which I will need considering I am running in the Disneyland 1/2 marathon in September. Anyone want to join in the fun?? What could be better than running through Disneyland for your birthday (or my birthday rather)? Anyway, if ANYONE has this stroller or another that they LOVE, I would love to hear about it.

We hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday! Ours was great! Ty even got to come home "early"!

Our House...is a very, very, very fine house!

After my couch posting I realized that nobody has really even seen my little house in California yet, not that there is much to see. I guess I should clarify...it's not really MY house, we are just renting it :) Gotta love California! So this pic is the front of our house, well most of it. I finally went through the house and took some pics and downloaded them to smugmug. So if you are interested and want to see the rest of the house go to the link on the right and you will find a gallery of pictures of the house! It is over 50 years old, as are most CA houses, but it is a great little place for us for the next little while.

Frumpy and Pregnant...

Well, it is official...I am FRUMPY!!!! A couple friends wanted to see me at my 37+ weeks state. So I made Tyler take a picture of me this morning and I am incredibly embarrassed but...here I am! At least we are on the home stretch. My due date is Feb. 28th from my official ultrasound, but I had an ultrasound a month or so ago that said Feb 22. I guess we will see. The last weeks are when all the fun starts. I almost forgot how much I love when one of my ankles swells and I gain 5 pounds a week :) Oh well we are almost there...ready or not.

So my friend Lindsey (SheSheSays) is the coolest and I stole this idea from her blog, sorry Linds. But I think it is great to give a little "Shout Out" to wonderful people in your life. So take a look every now and then at all the fabulous people who make me happy! (Sorry, it is likely to be Ty a lot...he's my favorite!)

It is our lucky day!

So when we moved to California we left one of our couches (the long sofa) with my brother and just brought our fairly good sized love seat. It was great for our old apartment because that was about all we could fit, but since we have been in a house and have a little more room it has been driving us nuts! We feel like we are always lying on the floor. So anyway, we were just about to break down and BUY couches when...an email came in. Sure enough some overly wealthy person from my brother-in-law's ward in Palo Alto had some "old" couches that they just wanted to get rid of if anyone would like to take them off of their hands. In our minds we were thinking maybe we don't want someone else's old nasty couches, but on the other hand they are from Palo Alto, how bad could they be. Well...you can judge!
