Is it that time...again?

Not that I am complaining, but I don't love my body. It is just not, nor will it ever be, the way it used to...thank you hilarious Ava and adorable Christian. :) I'm the first to admit it has gotten quite soft in recent years and gravity has definitely done what it does best...pulls down! So the thought of even wearing a swimsuit brings a slight cringe. But the thought of a sweet, sun-bathing vacation is the perfect recovery. So I have purchased many a swimsuit in my life, from an array of places, my favorite being a little surf shop in San Diego. I am once again in the market for such. Preferably a miracle worker that "Defies Gravity". Come on I know you all have a favorite place to purchase those suits...fill me in on the secret.

i avoid swimsuits like the plague. i hate buying them, i hate wearing them. however, in this texas heat, you can't avoid them. i'll be interested to see where people like to buy their suits as well.

your body looks great by the way. i like jcrews halter tops cause you can tie it tight at the top and keep yourself together.

I dont have a favorite place, I hear lands end is good? Are you going someplace warm and sunny??? With the rainy weather lasting TEN more days, it sounds like a good idea!

So, I don't think I've gotten a swimsuit from Lands End, but I think they're one of the best places to buy. They have a ton of different kinds of suits, and they tell you exactly what suit is best for you. They even have a place where you can put in all of you measurements, choose hair color and face shape, and it will make a virtual model of yourself. Then you can try on any swimsuit on your virtual model to see what it will look like. Granted, they don't take into account any cottage cheese or things like that, but it's not too bad. I did it last year and there were a few suits that when I tried them on my virtual model I thought, "Dang, that makes my butt look huge. I guess I won't get that suit." If nothing else, it's kind of fun to do. I hope that helps.

Hi Lindsey! I got your message on my blog and I just wanted to say hi! Your family is so cute- it is hard to believe you have 2 kids! Boy am I behind! Sorry, I am at a loss for the best place to get a swimsuit. The only advice I have is that they always say to get a size bigger than you actually are (I don't know if that always works though...). I'll check back often to see how things are going!!
